Senseonics – Blood Glucose Monitor

Senseonics is a medical technology company focused on the design, development and commercialization of glucose monitoring systems to improve the lives of people with diabetes by enhancing their ability to manage their disease with relative ease and accuracy. Their first generation continuous glucose monitoring, or CGM, system is a reliable, long-term, implantable CGM system that we have designed to continually and accurately measure glucose levels in people with diabetes for a period of up to 90 days, as compared to five to seven days for currently available CGM systems.

Comfort

Interwoven worked with the Senseonics team to develop an armband that houses the external electronic component of the CGM system. Together, we created a flexible 2-part band that is design to be comfortable throughout the day from high activity to sleep.

Flexibility

Seamless knitting on the comfort armband coupled with a reversible over cuff give the users multiple choices for security, flexibility and color while achieving maximum comfort.
